A Mural That Speaks of Country, Culture & Community
At the heart of AFLS’s Corporate Office in Rivervale now stands a powerful new mural – a vibrant, cultural artwork that brings together stories, landscapes, and connections from across the regions we serve.
Thanks to contributions from our offices in Kununurra, Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Carnarvon, Kalgoorlie, and Geraldton, the mural reflects a rich tapestry of flora, fauna, infrastructure, and industry — each image a tribute to the places we call home and the people we work with every day.
This mural is more than just art — it’s a celebration of our communities, a symbol of strength, and a reminder of the unity that ties us together across distance and landscape.
Created by Hailey from Djooken Djilba Art, the mural also holds deep personal significance. Hailey shared how visiting each of these towns over time made the imagery all the more meaningful. Her work breathes life into our office space and honours the spirit of connection that defines AFLS.
We’re incredibly grateful to the City of Belmont and Lotterywest for supporting this project, and to everyone involved in helping bring this idea to life.
Be sure to visit us at 113 Orrong Road, Rivervale, and take in this beautiful piece of kwobidak (beautiful) artwork for yourself.
